Hi, Iā€™m SAVITA ( Savvy for short )

As a dedicated Holistic Child and Baby Sleep Consultant and mother of two, I blend personal experience with professional expertise to help families achieve restful sleep. My journey through sleep challenges with my own children inspired my passion to support others in creating peaceful, restorative sleep routines for their little ones.

My interest in sleep science began with my own struggles with insomnia, but it was my journey through motherhood that truly ignited my passion.

When my son was born, he initially slept well, but soon began to have difficulty sleeping. He would only sleep in my arms or the buggy, waking the moment I put him down. He never slept more than 25 minutes during the day and woke frequently at night. Complicating matters, he was diagnosed with chronic reflux, leaving our family sleep-deprived and exhausted. This sleep deprivation clouded my judgment, strained my marriage, and filled me with self-doubt and guilt.

I scoured parenting forums, blogs, and books for advice but felt overwhelmed by the conflicting information. Various methods failed because I couldn't fully commit to them, not knowing how to handle setbacks. A friend suggested hiring a sleep consultant, a step I initially resisted due to fears about the "cry it out" method. However, the sleep consultant's visit transformed our lives. She created a personalized sleep plan that respected our parenting style and my son's needs. Gradually, my son began to nap for 1 to 3 hours in his cot and slept better at night.

Implementing the sleep plan involved some tears, but I learned that this resistance was natural and temporary. The consultant's wisdom that "teaching your child to sleep is a gift for life" proved true. The relief and peace we experienced compelled me to help others, leading me to train as a Sleep Consultant and start 'Savvy Sleep Coach'.

I am passionate about helping families overcome sleep problems and continually update my knowledge through seminars and workshops. I feel fortunate to have a career that brings satisfaction and joy to those that need it the most.
